Subscription Basics

Q1. What is a Zessa subscription and how does it work?
A Zessa subscription is a planned delivery of your chosen products that runs for a fixed period of up to 12 weeks.
When creating a subscription, you choose:
· The products you want
· The days of the week you want them delivered
· The total duration (from 1 week up to a maximum of 12 weeks)
Once set, the same weekly plan repeats automatically until the subscription ends.
Example:
If you select bread on Mondays and crackers on Fridays for 8 weeks, you’ll receive bread every Monday and crackers every Friday for 8 weeks.
The subscription will automatically end after week 8.
Q2. How long can one subscription run?
Each subscription can run for a maximum of 12 weeks.
You cannot extend a single subscription beyond 12 weeks. Once it ends, you may:
· Renew with the same plan
· Or create a new subscription with different products or delivery days
This keeps subscriptions simple, predictable, and easy to manage.
Q3. Can I start my subscription on any date?
Yes. You can subscribe on any day, but your subscription week always runs from Monday to Sunday.
If you subscribe mid-week, deliveries will begin from the next applicable delivery day based on your weekly plan.
Q4. How does the first delivery work? (With example)
Example:
· Today is Thursday, 19th
· You place a subscription order today
· Your weekly plan includes:
  o Friday → Bread
  o Monday → Crackers
What happens:
· Your first delivery will be on Friday, 20th (Bread)
· From the following Monday, the regular weekly cycle continues
· This repeats every week until your subscription duration ends (up to 12 weeks max)
Important to know:
· Subscription weeks run Monday to Sunday
· You do not lose any deliveries if you subscribe mid-week
· Deliveries always follow the day-wise products you selected
Q5. Can I have multiple subscriptions at the same time?
Yes. You can have more than one active subscription at the same time.
This is useful if you want:
· Different products delivered on different schedules
· Separate subscriptions for family members
· Separate subscriptions for friends (for gifting or ordering on their behalf)
Example:
You can have one subscription for your home and another for your parents or a friend, each with its own products, delivery days, and duration.
Each subscription is managed independently and can run for up to 12 weeks.

Rescheduling & Pausing

Q6. Can I reschedule a delivery?
Yes. You can reschedule a delivery up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time.
Please note:
· You can reschedule up to 3 deliveries within one subscription
· Rescheduling only changes the delivery day, not the subscription duration
Simple example:
· Delivery scheduled for Friday
· On Wednesday, you realise you won’t be available
· You reschedule it to Sunday
✔ The delivery moves to Sunday
✖ The subscription end date remains the same
Rescheduling helps shift a delivery but does not add extra weeks.
Q7. Can I pause my subscription?
No. There is no pause option.
· For short gaps → use rescheduling
· For longer breaks → cancel the subscription and start a new one later
Each new subscription is again limited to a maximum of 12 weeks.

Changing or Cancelling Your Plan

Q8. Can I change products after the subscription starts?
No. Products cannot be changed within an active subscription.
To change products, you must cancel the current subscription and purchase a new one.
Q9. How do I change my subscription products?
To change products:
1. Cancel your current subscription by contacting us on WhatsApp at least 24 hours before any scheduled delivery
2. Any unused amount from the cancelled subscription will be refunded
3. Purchase a new subscription with your updated product selection (up to 12 weeks)
Important to know:
· There is no automatic adjustment between subscriptions
· Refunds apply only to the unused portion
· A new subscription must be purchased separately
Example:
If you have a bread subscription and want to switch to crackers, cancel the bread subscription, receive a refund for unused deliveries, and place a new subscription for crackers.
Q10. Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time, as long as the request is made at least 24 hours before a scheduled delivery.
Please note:
· Cancellation requests must be sent via WhatsApp
· Deliveries already completed will be charged
· The unused amount will be refunded
· To continue later, you can place a new subscription order

Payments & Billing

Q11. How is payment handled for a subscription?
You pay the full amount upfront when purchasing a subscription. This covers all deliveries planned within the selected subscription period (up to 12 weeks).
Q12. What happens if I cancel my subscription midway?
If you cancel your subscription:
· Completed deliveries are charged
· The unused portion is refunded
· There is no carry-forward or adjustment to another subscription
Q13. Can my refund be adjusted against a new subscription?
No. Refunds are not adjusted against a new subscription.
If you wish to continue:
1. The unused amount is refunded
2. You place a new subscription order separately
Q14. Are there any extra charges for cancellation or rescheduling?
No.

You only pay for deliveries already completed.

Deliveries are made strictly according to the day-wise plan you select.

· Deliveries run automatically
· No weekly ordering required
· Products arrive only on selected days
Example:
Monday → Bread
Friday → Crackers
You’ll receive bread every Monday and crackers every Friday.
Q17. When will my deliveries arrive?
Deliveries are made during standard delivery windows based on your location.
You’ll receive:
· Delivery reminders
· Clear updates before arrival
Timings may vary slightly due to traffic.
Q18. Are subscription orders given priority delivery?
Yes. Subscription orders receive priority delivery, ensuring better reliability and fewer delays.
Q19. Are products prepared fresh for delivery?
Yes. All subscription products are prepared fresh for each delivery cycle.
We do not pre-pack or store subscription items for long periods.
Example:
Bread delivered on Friday is prepared specifically for that Friday’s delivery.
Q20. What if I am not available at the time of delivery?
If you know in advance that you won’t be available, please reschedule the delivery at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time.
If a delivery attempt fails because no one is available at the address:
· The delivery will be marked as failed
· If you wish to reschedule after a failed delivery, additional delivery charges will apply
· The delivery can be resent only within the same week
Q21. Can I change the delivery address for an existing subscription?
Yes. You can change the delivery address by contacting us on WhatsApp.
Please note:
· Request at least 24 hours before delivery
· Address changes apply to future deliveries only
· Subject to serviceability
Q22. How are delivery charges applied for subscriptions?
All delivery charges are calculated and collected upfront at the time of subscription purchase.
Q23. How does this work in practice?
At checkout, we calculate:
· Total number of deliveries
· Standard delivery charge per delivery
· Total delivery charges for the subscription
Example:
8 deliveries × ₹X = Total delivery charge (paid once upfront)
